Dr. Curd
Veterinarian
Dr. Lori Curd is a graduate of Cornell University, where she earned her degree in Animal Science, and later received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. She is the proud owner of two veterinary clinics in San Antonio and is currently preparing to open a third location.
With 30 years of marriage and three children, a son and two daughters, Dr. Curd values family as much as her dedication to veterinary medicine. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, spending time on her cattle ranch, and nurturing her passion for growing flowers, vegetables, and trees. She also loves cooking and sharing meals with loved ones.
Dr. Curd brings a warm, compassionate presence to her work and is committed to providing exceptional care to pets and their families.
Dr. Rosenauer
Veterinarian
Dr. Dan Rosenauer has had a lifelong passion for science, medicine, and animal health. Growing up around ranching and animal husbandry sparked his early interest in veterinary medicine and caring for animals.
After several years working in agricultural sales, Dr. Rosenauer returned to school to pursue his dream of becoming a veterinarian. His journey required patience and determination, including several years of applying to veterinary school before being accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies. He completed his clinical training in Dublin, Ireland, gaining valuable experience and a broader perspective on veterinary care.
As a general practice veterinarian, Dr. Rosenauer enjoys caring for pets through every stage of life. He has a special interest in endocrinology and dermatology and values building long-term relationships with clients and their pets. His approach to medicine is centered on thoughtful communication, compassion, and dedicated care.
In 2018, Dr. Rosenauer moved from San Antonio to Alaska in search of a new adventure. He quickly grew to love the Alaskan lifestyle and spent his free time skiing, ice skating, paddle boarding, fishing, and hunting.
In the summer of 2026, Dr. Rosenauer made the move back home to San Antonio. He is proud to serve his community and is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care to the patients and families of Ellison Drive Animal Hospital.
